MESSAGE

Healed in the Story

Over 25 times in the Gospels we come across stories of Jesus healing others. Whether it’s curing leprosy, giving a blind man sight, or even raising the dead, the authors of the Gospels make it clear that part of Jesus’ message included the physical healing of the lame, sick, and blind. But what was Jesus really doing with these healings? Was it simply a move of compassion, or were they a part of something much bigger? This week we will explore the healing miracles of Jesus and what they mean for you and I today.

Scripture: Mark 1:29-34
