The Attraction of Generosity

This week we will read the second chapter of Acts and look at Luke's description of the common, shared life of the early Christians (verses 42-47). Luke uses a lot of very powerful and positive language that describes a group of people who sacrificed deeply for one another, who spent a lot of meaningful time together, and who gathered and lived with purpose. And because of all of this, not only did the world around them look upon them with favor, but God was adding to their numbers daily.
